A Little History:
My story is real: it started 5 months ago with a serous worsening of my stomach condition that I could no longer ignore.
The severe pain forced me to delve into how the digestive system works, and almost by accident,
I stumbled across a method that could improve my condition. So I decided to give it a try.
I thought: "What do I have to lose?"
In 2.5 months, I lost 40 pounds (18.5 kg). You can find the proofs below. The metadata hasn't been removed so you can check for yourself when the photos were taken and where. Over the next 2.5 months, the weight stood still almost all the time and only went down a bit again at the very end of the term. Except that it wasn't weight loss what I was doing. I wasn't concerned at all with how much I weighed (even though I should have been). Improving GI functionality was a required means for the method, not the goal.
Sounds Like The Most Effective Diet?
You won't need such a drastic treatment procedure, at least most of you won't.
And I had no choice. I didn't know any other option than what I had decided to do, and my disease could not be cured with any medication.
I was ready to jump at any real opportunity. At that time, of course, I really missed the feedback from other people who had already tried it and shared with us their success stories.
Youtube offers very few videos of "my results" or "my success story" for that protocol, which is odd, I must notice. 'Cause it works for sure.
By the way, the photo was taken right now as I'm writing this story. No "before" photos unfortunately, I didn't think that I could make it, but there are screenshots from the smart scale app. I'll post them also.
A Little Practice:
So, what did I have to go to and why do I believe you won't need to go to get rid of your excess weight?
That's when I learned about AIP diet, the autoimmune protocol with Dr. Sarah Ballantyne, PhD.
She is not the only one to suggest how lifestyle changes need to be made for people with autoimmune diseases, but she is the only one whose approach has worked for me.
This is a very restrictive protocol imposing major dietary and lifestyle changes
Many people with autoimmune conditions have used it in hopes of finding a long-term eating approach that decreases symptoms and provides relief. And I'm among them.
Nutritionists for people without autoimmune diseases have developed equally effective but much gentler strategies, notably FODMAP and others.
